This whole website is kind of a “before and after” but with the in-the-middle details added as well… so I have this page to simply show ALL the best before and after shots (while taking out the middle). I’ll create project pages for specific before and after projects (e.g. the Wisconsin House, the Utah House), and those will be added as pages in this section.

The Reading Nook

We wanted to create a little nook in our basement where we could just hang out and read a good book. This was a big project because the basement didn’t exist, so it took several additional steps (framing, drywall, etc.) before the building of the bench and staging the area. In the future we’re going to put a zen garden and fairy land in the window well.
